When is Zell Juvebene used?

Growth disorders with limb and bone pain:

• While children between the ages of 4 and 10 tend to suffer from diffuse growing pains, growth disorders associated with limb and bone pain can often be precisely localised in young people who are active in sports. These are often localised to the heel or knee joint, usually on one side, but also on both sides.

Delayed growth in childhood and adolescence:

• This refers to constitutional developmental delay in which growth simply progresses more slowly than in other children. The bones grow more slowly. The final size corresponds to the natural disposition. In affected children, the growth curve breaks off and puberty occurs late, usually after the age of 13-14. The children reach their normal adult height late.

For delayed growth in childhood and adolescence:

• Children from 1 to 3 years: 1 tablet 5 times a day
• Children from 3 to 6 years: 1 tablet every hour
• Children from 6 to 12 years: Melt 2 tablets in the mouth every 20 minutes, one after the other
• Adolescents from 12 to 18 years: Allow 3 tablets to dissolve in the mouth in succession every hour

When using Zell Juvebene in children aged 1 to 3 years, it is recommended that the tablet be mixed with a few drops of water to form a thick paste and administered. The tablets are not suitable for children under 1 year of age. They should only be used in children under 3 years of age if recommended by a doctor.

If the symptoms improve, the frequency of use should be reduced.

For growth disorders with limb and bone pain:

• Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet every 10 minutes
• Adolescents from 12 to 18 years: dissolve 2 tablets in the mouth every 10 minutes in succession

If the symptoms improve, reduce the frequency of use.

Oral use:

Allow the tablets to dissolve in the mouth. The tablets can be taken up to immediately before eating and from 15 minutes after eating. If you do not feel better or even worse after 7 days, consult your doctor.
