The Acetocaustin® Wart Pen for warts on the hands and feet allows you to treat common warts in a targeted manner. The solution is applied once a week to gently remove warts from the skin.
Acetocaustin is highly effective due to its active ingredient (monochloroacetic acid). In contrast to the cell-destroying effect of Acetocaustin, the so-called keratolytic agents in other wart treatments, such as salicylic acid, merely break down the bonds between the cells themselves, rather than destroying the cells entirely. Thanks to its practical design and the blue-coloured solution, the Acetocaustin Wart Pen allows for precise and safe application anytime, anywhere. One application per week is entirely sufficient.
Acetocaustin Wart Pen is a medical device for the treatment of common warts on the hands and feet for adults and children aged 4 and over.

Directions for use
- Before you begin, protect the healthy skin around the wart by applying a thick layer of Vaseline or zinc ointment.
- Hold the Acetocaustin pen at an angle, as if you were writing. Do not press or squeeze the pen.
- Gently place the tip on the wart.
- Apply the solution twice, holding it in place for about 3 seconds each time (count slowly: 21, 22, 23).
- Make sure that the solution is applied only to the wart and not to the surrounding skin.
- After application, allow the solution to dry for about 5 minutes.
- Once dry, carefully remove the Vaseline or ointment from around the wart.
- Close the pen tightly after use and store it safely out of the reach of children. Do not cover the wart after application. Do not treat the same wart more than once a week.
The liquid takes a week to dissolve the top layer of the wart, so you will not see results immediately after application. Depending on the size and thickness of the wart, it may be necessary to repeat the treatment with the Acetocaustin Wart Pen after a week. The average treatment duration is around 5 weeks. Do not repeat the treatment within a period of less than one week.
