The FreeStyle Freedom Lite blood glucose meter from Abbott is your discreet everyday companion. With just a small drop of blood, you get fast and accurate results.
The FreeStyle Freedom Lite blood glucose meter is an in-vitro medical device for the automatic quantitative measurement of blood glucose levels. The system consists of the meter and the test strips and is suitable for self-testing or use by carers as well as for professional use as an aid for monitoring diabetes mellitus. Healthcare professionals can use this system to check patients' blood glucose levels.
The samples for the blood glucose measurement must come from capillary blood (fingertip) or venous whole blood. The meter may only be used with FreeStyle Lite blood glucose test strips. The system must not be used for the diagnosis of diabetes mellitus. The system is only suitable for use outside the body.
