- Lactobacillus plantarum: Lactobacillus plantarum (L. plantarum) is the predominant Lactobacillus species in the human oral and intestinal mucosa. These bacterial strains are able to survive the gastrointestinal tract well. In the gut, they colonise the mucous membranes and thereby support our natural gut flora. Lactobacillus plantarum is also found particularly frequently, naturally, in fermented foods.
- Vitamin B1 (thiamine): Thiamine belongs to the group of water-soluble B vitamins. Naturally, thiamine is found predominantly in whole grains and pulses. Thiamine is sensitive to light, heat and leaching, which means that losses during storage and preparation can sometimes be significant. In the human body, this vitamin performs important functions, including the maintenance of normal heart function.
- Berberine ( from Berberis aristata): Berberine is extracted from the bark of Berberis aristata, a specific species of barberry, . Berberine has a positive effect on cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood and contributes to a cholesterol-lowering diet.

Directions for use
- Adults aged 18 and over: Take one capsule and one tablet daily with sufficient liquid.
- Notes: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not suitable for children, adolescents, pregnant women or breastfeeding women. The simultaneous use of other medicines should only take place under medical supervision.
Ingredients
- One ATERObasic® plus capsule contains 3 bacterial strains with at least one billion (1.2 × 10⁹ CFU) bacteria – Lactobacillus plantarum CECT 7527, CECT 7528 and CECT 7529, as well as 0.22 mg of vitamin B1 (thiamine) to support heart function.
- In addition, each tablet contains 500 mg of berberine hydrochloride (from Berberis aristata). Berberine helps to maintain normal cholesterol and triglyceride levels and contributes to a cholesterol-lowering diet.
