APOfit Cistus oil is a 100% natural essential oil from Cistus Cyprius.
The yellowish to brown oil smells very intense, but develops an eroticising fragrance when diluted and is therefore often used as a base note for perfumes.
The cosmetics industry uses cistus oil in anti-acne care. The antiseptic properties of the oil from the rose, which always looks a little wrinkled, are said to restore balance to oily, blemished and inflamed skin. In aromatherapy, cistus oil is considered a "meditation oil" and is said to calm and warm after shock situations.
