APOfit - Angelica root is a 100% natural essential oil - Angelica archangelica. For skin care in case of skin irritations or congested skin, also for the scalp.
- Properties: Colourless, pale yellow oil that turns brownish over time. It has a rather strong, herbaceous-earthy undertone. The oil from the seeds develops a fresh, spicy top note. Blends well with patchouli, vetiver and citrus oils.
- Areas of application: For skin care in cases of skin irritation or congested skin, also for the scalp. In cosmetics, "angelica" is often added for its nourishing and soothing effect on skin problems. In the fragrance lamp, the oil is effective against stress-related disorders. Nervous tension is reduced. It has a stimulating effect on the mind in cases of fatigue. The oil is used in abundance in many foods and alcoholic drinks and, when applied to the skin, increases photosensitivity.
