APOfit - Basil is a 100% natural essential oil - Ocimum basilicum. Ideal as a room fragrance in a fragrance lamp.
- Properties: Colourless or pale yellow liquid with a light, fresh, sweet-spicy fragrance with a balsamic undertone. Excellent for mixing with "green fragrances" such as citronella or geranium.
- Areas of application: In the fragrance lamp it is praised as the best nerve tonic. Anxiety, nervous tension or depression give way to an optimistic state of mind. It drives away unpleasant insects and has a nourishing effect on the skin in case of insect bites. The oil can be found in soaps, cosmetics and perfumes and is also widely used in food - especially in spice mixtures. (Avoid during pregnancy!)
