- AMAZONAS acerola powder is made from whole cherries, which contain vitamin C as well as numerous minerals and secondary plant substances. These natural "carriers" are responsible for ensuring that the vitamin C is absorbed by the body.
- The powder is produced in a spraying process with the addition of the carrier maltodextrin. The maltodextrin, obtained from GM-free maize, is necessary for the shelf life of the powder.
- AMAZONAS acerola powder, with a vitamin C content of 17%, is produced from wild-growing ripe and unripe cherries (approx. 3-6 kg of fruit for 1 kg of powder) in order to utilise the specific properties of the different ripeness levels.
- The powder has a pink colour.
- Vitamin C made from fresh fruit strengthens our defences, protects our cells from free radicals and promotes the formation of collagen.
- As the human organism cannot produce vitamin C itself, we must ensure that we have a sufficient supply of the vitamin.
