The ALLEVYN HEEL heel dressing is a non-adhesive polyurethane foam wound dressing for the management of wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. Anatomically shaped for easy dressing of problem areas such as the heel,elbow, amputation stumps, toes and testicles – sterile.
Features
- High absorbency and rapid exudate absorption
- Conformable and cushioning for high patient comfort
- Can be cut to size
- Can be secured using, for example, OPSITE FLEXIFIX or bandages
- Dressing can remain in place for up to 7 days
Indications
- Secondary wound healing of superficial, granulating wounds. Chronic and acute exuding wounds, superficial or deep wounds such as pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, infected wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, malignant wounds, surgical wounds, first- and second-degree burns, split-skin graft sites and proliferative ulcers.
