A gently adherent silicone foam dressing for the management of wounds with moderate to heavy exudate. Its gentle adhesion facilitates secondary fixation – sterile.

ALLEVYN GENTLE dressings are suitable for a wide range of acute and chronic wounds requiring secondary fixation, even on difficult-to-reach areas of the body.^1,3,6ALLEVYN GENTLE dressings have been^designed for reliable everyday use and to meet the challenges of wound care on sensitive skin4^,5 and can be worn for up to 7 days^.*6-8

Features 

• Suitable for sensitive skin: The dressings feature a gentle silicone contact layer to^keep the dressing gently secured during dressing^{changes⁹,¹⁰} and to minimise pain and trauma to the wound during dressing changes^.¹⁰,¹¹ 
• Versatile: A soft, four-way stretch dressing that can be^{cut to size} to suit many wound types¹⁻³. 
• High absorbency: Hydrocellular foam absorbs large amounts^{of exudate¹⁻⁸,¹²} and can effectively^absorb viscous exudate¹³ whilst retaining its absorbency even under pressure.^**² 
• Promotes rapid healing: The triple-action technology promotes a moist wound environment, thereby supporting wound healing, granulation and epithelialisation whilst minimising the risk of maceration.^1,7,8,14
