ALLERVIT Allergy Complex Capsules are a dietary supplement with quercetin, astragalus membranaceus, vitamin C, calcium, zinc and other nutrients to support the immune system during the allergy season.

Active ingredients

• Quercetin is a natural flavonoid found in many types of fruit and vegetables and is known for its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Quercetin is an effective antioxidant. It inhibits the release of histamine and can therefore reduce allergic reactions. It also supports the immune system as it blocks pro-inflammatory enzymes and thus alleviates allergy-related inflammation (Najafi et al., 2024).
• Astragalus membranaceus, also known as tragacanth root, is an active herbal ingredient from Chinese medicine (TCM). Studies show that astragalus can alleviate allergic symptoms by modulating the immune system and reducing the release of histamine (Matkovic et al., 2010).
• Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is a powerful antioxidant that scavenges harmful free radicals and protects cells from damage caused by oxidative stress. Vitamin C can play a special role in allergies as it reduces histamine production in the body. As a result, allergic symptoms such as sneezing, itching and swelling can be alleviated (Vollbracht et al. 2018).

Directions for use

• For adults and adolescents aged 12 and over: take 1-2 capsules twice daily in the morning and evening with a meal and plenty of water.
• Use before the start of the pollen count: 2 x 1 capsule daily (3-4 weeks before the start)
• Use during the pollen count: 2 x 2 capsules daily
• Long-term use (maintenance use): 2 x daily 1 capsule (for long-term effect)
