Algisite M is a calcium alginate wound dressing that forms a soft, structurally stable gel after absorbing wound exudate and thus supports moist wound healing. Algisite M does not stick to the wound and its high fibre stability ensures that the dressing can be removed with little pain. The excellent adaptability to all wound contours offers high wearing comfort. A dressing retention time of up to seven days helps you to provide economical care.

Algisite M adapts perfectly to all wound contours. The dressing can absorb up to 10 times its own weight in fluid. Thanks to the structurally stable fibre bond, Algisite M can be removed from the wound in one piece. Algisite M also minimises damage to the newly formed tissue when the dressing is removed.
