ACTICOAT FLEX antimicrobial wound dressings with silver are used to treat infected or infection-prone acute and chronic wounds, such as leg ulcers, pressure sores, diabetic ulcers, burns and explantation sites.
The porous surface structure enables a long-lasting release of silver into the wound. ACTICOAT promotes an ideal moist wound environment and has been proven to release sufficient silver in a constant concentration to have a bactericidal effect.

Wound dressing
Application
- For dry or only slightly weeping wounds, moisten with e.g. distilled water or INTRASITE◊ GEL.
- If necessary, cut to the appropriate wound size.
- Apply a suitable secondary dressing (e.g. ALLEVYN◊).
- Do not combine with oily substances.
- Do not apply directly to exposed tendons, bones or organs
