In vitro tests show that the transparent dressing provides protection against viruses with a diameter of 27 nm or more as long as the dressing remains intact and tight.
Tegaderm + Pad transparent dressing with absorbent wound pad is a versatile, sterile ready-to-use dressing with the advantages of a transparent dressing. The breathable film reliably protects the wound from water, germs and dirt, making it ideal for showering and bathing. The absorbent wound dressing does not stick to the wound. Ideal for superficial abrasions, cuts, burns (up to grade IIa) and skin sutures.
