3M™ Tegaderm™ I.V. Transparent film dressing with adhesive-free window has been specially developed for patients with implanted venous ports (e.g. oncological or haematological patients).
For use with implanted venous ports and port needles.
Features
- The adhesive-free transparent window minimises adhesive contact with the cannula and the patient's skin. This reduces the risk of the dressing sticking to the cannula when it is removed.
- The dressing stretches with the skin for increased patient comfort and can be worn for up to seven days.
- The transparent dressing offers the best possible view of the puncture site.
- Can be worn for up to seven days.
- 3M™ Tegaderm™ CHG Chlorhexidine Gluconate I.V. Port Dressing Set 1665R with gel pad is an alternative option.
- The application frame enables one-handed application and reduces waste. Non-adhesive retaining tabs allow for easy application.
- The waterproof dressing forms a breathable barrier against external contamination (bacteria and viruses) and allows the patient to shower.
