3M Nexcare™ ColdHot Therapy Belt L/XL is intended for superficial application of cold or heat. Cold helps to relieve swelling, inflammation and pain. Heat reduces pain, soothes and relaxes.
Natural therapeutic power of cold and heat. The compress is suitable for applying heat and cold and is a practical solution for anyone who prefers natural therapy without medication. Can be cooled in the freezer or refrigerator. Can be heated in hot water or in the microwave. Distribute the heat evenly by kneading! Always put the gel compress in the protective cover provided or wrap it in a clean towel before placing it on the skin. Place the compress on the affected area of the body for as long as it feels comfortable. As soon as the gel pack has reached room temperature, warm it up again. Thanks to the high-performance protective cover, it can be applied quickly and easily - without using your hands - to the painful area on the back or stomach. Thanks to the Thinsulate™ microfibre fabric, the temperature of the compress remains stable over time.

Areas of application
Cold therapy:
- Cold reduces swelling, helps with inflammation and relieves pain.
- General use: Acute injuries (bruises, sprains, minor bumps), chronic muscle and joint complaints, swelling or to reduce fever.
- Use of the ColdHot™ belt compress: Swelling and inflammation in the back area
Heat therapy:
- Heat helps to relieve muscle cramps, eases pain, soothes and relaxes.
- General use: chronic musculoskeletal pain (but without acute inflammation), muscle tension, back pain, menstrual cramps, osteoarthritis / rheumatoid arthritis.
- Use of the ColdHot™ belt compress: Lower back pain, including during pregnancy, menstrual cramps, abdominal pain / cramps
Dosage form
- Belt compress - cold/warm gel compress
- Body circumference: 100 - 136 cm
Application
Cold application:
- Keep the gel compress in the refrigerator or freezer so that it is always ready for use.
- Advice: Never leave the compress on for longer than 20 minutes at a time. Wait 20 minutes before reapplying.
Warm application:
- Hot water bath: Bring water to the boil briefly and remove from the heat source. Place the gel compress in the hot water and heat for 5-6 minutes.
- Microwave: Place the gel compress flat in the microwave, set the power level to 640 watts and gradually heat for 3 times 30 seconds. Knead the gel compress well after each heating step to distribute the heat evenly. Apply to the affected area of the body for as long as it feels comfortable. As soon as the compress has reached room temperature, warm it up again.
