The 3M Nexcare™ ColdHot Therapy Belt L/XL is designed to provide superficial cold or heat therapy. Cold helps to relieve swelling, inflammation and pain. Heat reduces pain, soothes and relaxes.
The natural therapeutic power of cold and heat. The compress is suitable for both heat and cold therapy and is a practical solution for anyone who prefers natural treatment without medication. Can be cooled in the freezer or fridge. Can be heated in hot water or in the microwave. Knead the compress to distribute the heat evenly! Always place the gel compress in the protective cover provided or wrap it in a clean towel before applying it to the skin. Place the compress on the affected area for as long as it feels comfortable. Once the gel pack has reached room temperature, reheat it. Thanks to the high-performance protective cover, it can be applied quickly and easily – without using your hands – to the painful area on your back or stomach. Thanks to the Thinsulate™ microfibre fabric, the compress maintains a stable temperature for a prolonged period.

Indications
Cold therapy:
- Cold reduces swelling, helps with inflammation and relieves pain.
- General use: Acute injuries (bruises, sprains, minor bumps), chronic muscle and joint complaints, swelling or to reduce fever.
- Use of the ColdHot™ strap compress: Swelling and inflammation in the back area
Heat therapy:
- Heat helps to relieve muscle spasms, alleviates pain, soothes and relaxes.
- General use: chronic musculoskeletal pain (but without acute inflammation), muscle tension, back pain, period pain, osteoarthritis / rheumatoid arthritis.
- Use of the ColdHot™ belt compress: lower back pain, including during pregnancy, period pain, abdominal pain / cramps
Dosage form
- Belt compress – cold/warm gel compress
- Waist circumference: 100–136 cm
Usage
Cold application:
- Store the gel compress in the fridge or freezer so that it is always ready for use.
- Notes: Never leave the compress on for more than 20 minutes at a time. Wait 20 minutes before reapplying.
Hot application:
- Hot water bath: Bring the water to the boil briefly, then remove from the heat. Place the gel compress in the hot water and heat for 5–6 minutes.
- Microwave: Place the gel compress flat in the microwave, set the power to 640 watts and heat in three 30-second bursts. Knead the gel compress thoroughly after each reheating step to distribute the heat evenly. Apply to the affected area for as long as it feels comfortable. Once the compress has reached room temperature, reheat it.
