The 3M™ Kerracel™ wound dressing supports the care of chronic and acute wounds thanks to its high absorbency. On contact with wound fluid, it forms a stable gel for a moist wound environment.

3M™ KerraCel™ is a primary fibre wound dressing for the treatment of exuding chronic and acute wounds. The KerraCel™ dressing forms a soothing gel that helps maintain a moist wound healing environment

3M™ KerraCel™ is a soft, flexible hydofibre dressing made from 100% carboxymethylcellulose and has a high ^absorbency1. The high absorbency of 3M™ KerraCel™ helps to protect the wound edge from maceration as exudate is trapped and retained in the ^dressing2

Areas of application

3M™ KerraCel™ is suitable for moderately to heavily exuding wounds (chronic and acute), e.g:

• Leg ulcers
• Pressure ulcers
• Diabetic foot ulcers
• Surgical wounds
• Skin removal sites
• Wound cavities
• Second degree superficial dermal burns
• Trauma wounds
• Malignant wounds
• Stopping minor bleeding on superficial wounds
