3M™ Cavilon™ Non-irritant Skin Protection - the original - is an alcohol-free skin protection film that dries quickly and forms a breathable and transparent protective film on the skin.
It is designed to protect intact, damaged or "at risk skin" from urine, faeces, bodily fluids and skin damage caused by medical adhesives and friction.
Properties
- Barrier against bodily fluids for optimised continence care
- Alcohol-free, does not sting, pleasant to use even on irritated and damaged skin
- Supports the healing process of irritated, damaged skin
- Quick-drying and non-sticky for easy application and patient comfort
- Compatible with skin preparation products (e.g. chlorhexidine gluconate and povidone iodine)

- Helps to prevent IAD (incontinence-associated dermatitis)
- Skin protection around stomas and drains
