The new visomat double comfort blood pressure monitor combines precise Korotkov measurement (as with stethoscope-based devices) with comfortable oscillometric measurement. The device automatically determines and decides whether to display the result using the Korotkov method or the oscillometric method.
90 per cent of the readings are determined using the Korotkov method via the microphone, whilst 10 per cent are determined using the oscillometric method. Thanks to these two measurement methods, the new double comfort is recommended for people with cardiac arrhythmias and high blood pressure.
Measure just like at the doctor’s. Thanks to the microphone integrated into the cuff, the double comfort measures in exactly the same way as your doctor. The two measurement methods ensure you receive precise results. It also detects atrial fibrillation, one of the most dangerous types of cardiac arrhythmia.
