Dosage form
Application
- The sample is obtained by inserting a swab up to the cervix (end of the vaginal canal) where the swab is rotated for 30 seconds. The swab is then inserted into the sample container so that the sample is mixed with the buffer fluid. To do this, the swab must be pressed against the container walls and the bottom of the bottle.
- After 5 minutes, squeeze the swab well, close the buffer bottle and shake.
- Open the buffer bottle and apply 2 drops to the sample field on the test cassette.
- The result can be read after 15 minutes.
- A sample is considered positive if two violet lines (at "C" and "T") appear within the reaction time of 15 minutes. If only one coloured line appears at "C" within the reaction time, the result is considered negative.
