CARBODOTE liquid charcoal is a feed supplement to support the adsorption of toxins in the intestinal tract of dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles and birds.

Carbodote is a suspension based on vegetable charcoal for oral intake. It supports the binding of unwanted substances and produced gases in the intestine. Vegetable charcoal has a high binding capacity for many different toxic and potentially toxic substances. It therefore prevents the absorption of toxins. It also protects the intestinal wall.

Application

In cases of ingestion of undesirable substances: 2-5 ml/kg, depending on the amount of substance ingested. Feeding can be repeated every 4 to 6 hours over 24 hours. If necessary, the amount to be administered can be quadrupled (20 ml/kg).
In cases of increased gas production in the intestine: 0.5 ml/kg, twice daily. This can be administered for as long as necessary.
Advice: After feeding Carbodote, a waiting period of 3 hours should be observed until the next feeding or oral medication. Carbodote causes a black colouration of the faeces. Carbodote causes stains on textiles.

Ingredients

Composition: Vegetable charcoal 24 %, glycerine.
Analytical constituents: Crude protein 0.1 %, crude oils and fats 0.1 %, crude fibre 11.7 %, crude ash 0.8 %, moisture 59.3 %.
