tetesept Femi Baby® Preconception Care contains specially formulated nutrients that support preconception planning:

• Folic acid contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy. Low folate levels in pregnant women during the first trimester are a risk factor for the development of neural tube defects (e.g. spina bifida) in the developing foetus. You should therefore start taking folic acid as soon as you start trying for a baby, in order to increase your folate levels.
• Vitamin B12 and vitamin D3 play a role in cell division and contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.
• Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones.
• Zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction.
