How does Lactase 12000 work?
The enzyme lactase contained in Lactase 12000 breaks down lactose into its easily utilisable components glucose and galactose. The enzyme itself is neither absorbed from the small intestine nor does it have any effect on the organism. The action of lactase takes place exclusively in the chyme. The consumption of (even large quantities of) Lactase 12000 is therefore harmless and there is no risk of adverse effects, even with regular and long-term consumption. Lactase 12000 is therefore also suitable for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers and children.
Where does the lactase contained in Lactase 12000 come from?
The lactase enzyme contained in Lactase 12000 is not of animal origin. It is produced using the microorganism Aspergillus oryzae, which has been used for decades in the production of food enzymes.

How to use
1 - 2 capsules shortly before or with each meal containing lactose, but not more than 15 capsules (=180000 FCC units) as a daily dose. 12000 Food Chemical Codex (FCC) units of lactase per capsule.
