Ingredients included are:
- Schizochytrium sp. are marine microalgae that live in mangrove forests on tropical coasts. They are the only plants that can produce both EPA and DHA. This makes the microalgae the ideal vegan source of omega-3.
- Omega-3 fatty acids are unsaturated fatty acids. They are essential substances that are vital to life and cannot be produced by the body itself. They must therefore be regularly consumed in sufficient quantities through food. The most important sources of omega-3 fatty acids are fresh fish and micro seaweed.
- The natural source of omega-3 fatty acids is of plant origin. Even fish cannot produce omega-3 fatty acids themselves, but absorb them by eating algae.
- However, many plant species often only produce the simple omega-3 fatty acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which the body cannot convert sufficiently into the directly utilisable forms EPA and DHA. This means that the omega-3 supply can only be covered to a limited extent by classic oils such as linseed, walnut or rapeseed.
- Specialised microalgae are the only plants that can produce both EPA and DHA. This makes the microalgae Schizochytrium the ideal source of omega-3 for omega3-Loges® plant-based.

- Ingredients: DHA- and EPA-rich oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp., modified starch, humectant: glycerol; thickener: carrageenan; sunflower oil, antioxidants: rosemary extract, extracts containing strong tocopherols, fatty acid esters of ascorbic acid; acidity regulator: sodium carbonates.
