The adult set consists of a pink 240 ml BPA-free rinsing bottle and includes 10 sachets of high-quality salt mixture with natural salt from the Salzkammergut region. The salt mixture contained is suitable for all areas of application and can be adjusted to produce an isotonic (preventative) or hypertonic (for nasal congestion) rinsing solution.

Dosage form

1 x Nasovital nasal irrigation system (colour: blue or pink) and 10 sachets of 3 g each of Nasovital nasal irrigation salt - with natural salt from the mountains of the Austrian Salzkammergut.

Application

Regular nasal rinsing with the Nasovital nasal rinsing system is a gentle, natural and effective method of preventing and alleviating symptoms. It improves nasal breathing, prevents infections and supports well-being - ideal for daily use!

How to rinse your nose with the Nasovital nasal rinsing system:

1. Pour the contents of a Nasovital Nasal Rinsing Salt sachet into the container and fill the Nasovital Nasal Rinsing System up to the fill line (approx. 240 ml) with lukewarm water. To prepare an isotonic solution, use one sachet of the nasal rinsing salt. For a hypertonic solution, use two sachets of Nasovital nasal rinsing salt.
2. Screw the closed cap onto the bottle, seal well and shake the contents well until the salt has completely dissolved.
3. Pull the attachment upwards, halfway (for a gentle stream) or all the way (for an intensive stream). Guide the attachment directly to the nostril.
4. Press the bottle gently and wait until the solution flows through the other nostril.

Cleaning and storage:

• Rinse the bottle and the attachment with water and make sure that the bottle can dry thoroughly. The system is also suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher.

Application tips:

• The salt should dissolve completely in lukewarm water. Only use the solution when no more residue is visible.
• Keep your mouth open when rinsing so that the solution flows easily through the nose and does not enter the throat.
• If any residue of the solution collects in the nasal passages, you can easily remove it by bending your head and gently turning it to the left and right.

Advice: For reasons of hygiene, each family member should use their own Nasovital nasal rinsing system, comparable to a toothbrush. The Nasovital nasal rinsing system is available in two different colours (blue & pink) and two different sizes, so you can find the right bottle for the whole family.

Ingredients

Nasal Rinsing Salt - Contains 80% natural mineral salt from the Salzkammergut (sodium chloride, NaCl) and 20% sodium hydrogen carbonate (NaHCO₃). Sodium hydrogen carbonate helps to better dissolve stuck mucus and neutralise inflammatory metabolic products. Each 3 g portion consists of a defined mixture of 2.4 g sodium chloride [NaCl] and 0.6 g sodium hydrogen carbonate [NaHCO₃].
