How does conaskin® TINKTUR work?

conaSKIN® TINKTUR contains manuka honey, propolis (bee resin) and aloe vera in an alcoholic solution. The special conaSKIN® formula has been tested for years in dental practices and cares for the oral mucosa and gums in a completely natural way.

Manuka honey is traditionally used as a natural remedy. When applied to wounds, honey forms a protective barrier due to its viscosity. It contains hydrogen peroxide, which gives the honey its antibacterial properties. The methylglyoxal also contained in manuka honey has similar properties.
Propolis ("bee resin") is used by bees as a defence against pathogens by sealing small openings, cracks and crevices in the hive. In addition to its resins and waxes, propolis is also characterised by its content of essential oils, minerals and organic substances, e.g. flavonoids.
Aloe vera juice is known for its nourishing and moisturising effects. It supports and cares for our body like hardly any other plant and has been a symbol of immortality and beauty for thousands of years. Even Cleopatra used aloe vera to care for her body. But Hippocrates, the father of medicine, also used aloe vera.

How to use

conaSKIN® TINKTUR is dabbed onto the affected areas with a cotton bud. After a brief stinging sensation at the beginning, the soothing effect sets in quickly. It is best to repeat the application every 2-3 hours or simply as required. Shake well for 5 seconds before use!

Do not use if you are allergic to bee products or children under 6 years of age, contains alcohol.
