cedumed® contains the extract from the leaves of the ginkgo tree (Ginkgo biloba) with a high standardised content of ginkgo flavonoids (at least 24 %) and terpene lactones (at least 6 %). The valuable ingredients of ginkgo support the microcirculation of the blood and promote blood flow. They naturally help to maintain the brain's cognitive functions such as memory, concentration and learning ability.

Many cultures revere Ginkgo biloba - probably the oldest tree in the world - as a symbol of strength and hope, long life, fertility, friendship and invincibility. The "Japanese temple tree" is unique in the plant kingdom of our planet. Ginkgo has proven its high resistance to extreme climatic and environmental conditions, such as the ice age in Asia, the strongest radioactive radiation and firestorms, many times in its long history.
