• Triphala powder BIO is a classic Ayurvedic mixture of the three ground fruits Amalaki, Bibhitaki and Haritaki.
• Suitable for taking with water. However, its tannins are less concentrated than in Triphala extract capsules (with 40 per cent tannin content).

Directions

• Adults: Stir 2 to 3 g (= 1 teaspoon) of Triphala powder into water or juice once or twice a day and drink. Can also be used as a supplement to Triphala extract capsules.
• Preparation of a mouthwash: You can either dissolve a weak half teaspoon of powder in a little water and rinse and gargle twice a day or prepare a 6 per cent intensive solution. To do this, boil a quarter litre of water with 3 level tablespoons of Triphala. Allow to simmer briefly over a low heat and then strain through a clean tea towel. Store in a dark bottle and keep a sip in your mouth for a few minutes twice a day.
