Zentinor Energy drink ampoules are a food supplement containing the amino acids L-arginine, L-aspartic acid and vitamins. They support normal recovery following excessive physical exertion, injuries or operations.
‘Zentinor Energy’ is a dietary supplement for adults
containing the valuable amino acids L-arginine and L-aspartic acid
plus 2 vitamins (B6 and B12), which support your normal energy metabolism
and help reduce tiredness and fatigue.
Zentinor Energy* is lactose-free.
- L-arginine: Arginine (also known as L-arginine) is, from a metabolic point of view, one of the most versatile amino acids. For adults, it is a semi-essential amino acid, meaning that it can be produced by the body, but in insufficient quantities, and therefore also requires exogenous intake. Arginine is a precursor to nitric oxide (NO), as well as a starting material for the synthesis of proteins, creatine and other important molecules. Arginine is found particularly in protein-rich foods such as nuts, seeds, meat, fish and pulses.
- L-aspartic acid: L-aspartic acid is a non-essential, proteinogenic amino acid that the body can synthesise from other amino acids. ‘Proteinogenic’ means that it serves as a building block for the formation of proteins. L-aspartic acid is found in foods such as asparagus, dairy products, meat and pulses.
- Vitamin B6 and vitamin B12: B vitamins are also colloquially referred to as ‘nerve vitamins’ – they contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system and to normal psychological function. They also play a major role in metabolism: they support normal homocysteine metabolism, and vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism.

Directions for use
- Adults: The contents of the ampoule should be diluted with a little water and taken, preferably before meals.
- As required: 1 to 2 ampoules per day.
- Notes: The safety of L-arginine and L-asparagine during pregnancy and breastfeeding has only been studied to a limited extent. It is always best to consult your doctor before taking any dietary supplements whilst pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Notes for people with diabetes: Taking this dietary supplement may cause interactions with certain diabetes medicines. People with diabetes should speak to their doctor before taking dietary supplements containing L-arginine and L-asparagine.
Method of use:
- The ampoules have marked rings at both ends, where there is a perforation. The tips must be snapped off at the perforations. The solution will only flow once both tips have been snapped off.
- Hold the ampoule at an angle NEXT TO the glass from which you will be drinking (not above it). Break off the top tip by bending it with gentle pressure. You can use a paper towel to break it off with more force.
- Turn the ampoule upside down (the solution will not flow yet). Hold the ampoule at an angle to the glass so that only the broken tip is positioned over the glass. Break off the second tip. The solution will now flow. Check that the solution in the glass does not contain any shards!
