Prevents stretch marks

During pregnancy, the mother's body forms a protective and nourishing shell for the growing child. Hormonal changes loosen the connective tissue so that the abdominal wall can stretch. This puts a lot of strain on the elastic fibres of the skin. Stretch marks can develop.

Weleda Pregnancy Care Oil protects the skin, which is prone to dryness due to the physical changes during pregnancy, from drying out. Massaged in regularly from the beginning of pregnancy until three months after the birth, it prevents stretch marks on the stomach, thighs, buttocks and breasts. Mild almond oil, moisturising jojoba oil, wheat germ oil rich in vitamin E with an extract of arnica improve the elasticity of the skin and stimulate its resilience. The holistic composition leaves the skin feeling soft and velvety and envelops it in a cosy atmosphere. Essential oils unfold a delicate, rounded fragrance.
