How does Wartner® work against warts?
Wartner® uses the same method that is also used by doctors: Icing.
- Wartner® immediately ices the wart/keratosis down to the root. When you press the foam applicator onto the wart/verruca, it turns white and there is a slightly painful, stinging sensation as a result of the icing. Once the applicator has been removed, the skin gradually returns to its natural colour. The painful, stinging sensation will also subside quickly and disappear completely within a few hours.
- After the skin area has "thawed" and returned to its original colour, redness the size of the iced area may occur. Icing can also lead to the formation of a blister under the wart within a few days. This may not be visible to the naked eye. The iced wart should gradually disappear over the next few days or fall off within the next 10 to 14 days. New, healthy skin has already formed under the wart during this time.
*Exclusively for the treatment of common warts (Verruca vulgaris) and plantar warts (Verruca plantaris) on hands and feet. Not suitable for the treatment of molluscum contagiosum.
