- Acerola: Acerola is one of the richest fruits in vitamin C in the world and has a vitamin C content 30 times higher than that of lemons. Its nutrients are naturally bound to plant substances that protect the acerola from oxidation. In food supplements, these complex, natural structures are considered to be particularly easy for the body to absorb. They also ensure a prolonged effect in the body thanks to the minerals they contain, which act as acid buffers and ensure that the vitamin C in acerola can be metabolised neutrally rather than acidically.
