Vitaworld Ubichinol 50 mg capsules are a dietary supplement containing 50 mg coenzyme Q10 ubiquinol per capsule.

Ubiquinol is a reduced form of the coenzyme Q10. The coenzyme Q10 contained in blood plasma normally consists of around 95% ubiquinol. The proportion of ubiquinone is only around 5 %.
Above all, ubiquinol plays a central role in the mitochondria in the conversion of energy from carbohydrates, fats and proteins into cellular energy. With increasing age, however, the body produces less and less Q10 and is then also less able to convert it into ubiquinol.
