Vitaworld Hyaluronic Acid 100 mg Joint Capsules are a food supplement with hyaluronic acid of plant origin. An important component of cartilage and joints, the vitamin C it contains supports normal collagen formation.
Hyaluronic acid is primarily known as a skin care product because it counteracts the signs of ageing in the skin.
But hyaluronic acid is at least as important for the joints, because the cartilage mass on the joint surfaces needs hyaluronic acid as synovial fluid to remain supple and intact. However, as the body produces less and less hyaluronic acid with age, the joints are no longer as well "lubricated". Mobility decreases, the joint surfaces are less well protected and therefore wear out more quickly. A supplementary intake of hyaluronic acid can help here and the skin also benefits from it. Because hyaluronic acid can bind 6000 times its own weight in water, the supplementary intake of hyaluronic acid also counteracts the signs of ageing of the skin.
Only plant-based raw materials are used to obtain hyaluronic acid, which has a molecular weight of between 700 and 1,500 k Daltons. This ensures that the hyaluronic acid reaches the body and is not destroyed by stomach acid.
