Vitaworld Coenzyme Q10 100 mg Ubiquinone Capsules are a dietary supplement to support normal energy metabolism.
Coenzyme Q10 is found in all human cells and plays a decisive role in the body's energy production, as it is an important part of the respiratory chain. The respiratory chain is the conversion of energy derived from carbohydrates, fats and proteins in the mitochondria into cellular energy, which also requires water and oxygen.
The highest concentration of Q10, also known as ubiquinone or ubiquinone-10, is found in the organs that use the most energy, i.e. the lungs, liver, muscles, heart and nervous system. The Q10 required for this can be produced by the body itself, but is also partly supplied through food or creams. In addition to oily fish, poultry and egg yolk, the most important sources of Q10 include various pulses, nuts, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, spinach, maize, soya, potatoes and vegetable oils. However, as the Q10 content decreases during the cooking process, care should be taken to ensure a gentle cooking process. In addition to its important function in energy production, coenzyme Q10 can also intercept free radicals and thus prevent cell damage.
The capsules each contain 100 mg Q10, which is produced by yeast fermentation. The Q10 is therefore 100 % natural and thus identical to the body's own Q10.
