Curcumin is one of the main compounds in turmeric. Curcuminoids are the plant substance groups to which curcumin belongs. A turmeric extract with 95 % curcumin and 70 % curcuminoids contains a highly concentrated form of these natural components - far more than in conventional turmeric powder.

To optimise absorption, the formula contains 2 mg of black pepper extract (95 % piperine). Piperine is known to significantly increase the bioavailability of curcumin.
