Vetramil contains medicinal honey with a very high enzyme content, as well as essential oils. Natural antioxidants in honey protect and nourish irritated and damaged skin. In a moist environment, the enzyme glucose oxidase causes the slow release of small amounts of hydrogen peroxide. Low doses of hydrogen peroxide have a cleansing effect and promote regeneration. The low pH value creates a favourable environment and restores the skin’s natural acidity. The naturally pure essential oils enhance the properties of the honey. Their bitter taste prevents the ointment from being licked off.

Directions for use

1. If necessary, clean the affected skin with water and pat dry with a clean paper towel.
2. Apply a generous amount of Vetramil® honey ointment 1–2 times a day.
3. Massage well into the irritated skin.
4. May be used in combination with a covering dressing.
5. Continue treatment until the skin has fully healed.
