Application
- For full baths, add at least 3 tablespoons of Stone Oil Bath to the warm water and dissolve, depending on the size of the bathtub; for partial baths, add 1-2 tablespoons.
- The water temperature should be approx. 36-38 °C and the duration of the bath should not exceed approx. 20 minutes. A rest period of approx. 30 minutes is recommended afterwards.
- Application intervals: Take a break of at least one day between full baths Whirlpool operation is not recommended!
- Contraindications: As the use of the stone oil bath puts a strain on the cardiovascular system, it is essential to seek medical advice before use in the case of high blood pressure, flu-like infections, acute phlebitis, people at risk of heart attack, acute circulatory problems, etc.
- Cleansing: The stone oil bath will not discolour you, the bathtub or towels. Any discolouration can be removed with warm water and detergent. If the lid does not come off, simply hold it under warm running water for a few seconds until it comes off easily. The stone oil bath can be used regularly in private households without discolouring the bathtub. The basic requirement for a stone oil bath is a clean bathtub with a smooth surface (enamel, plastic, metal, etc.) or an intact surface sealant (for wood or concrete). Any residue can be easily removed immediately after bathing with a soap solution and a soft cloth/sponge. Basically, it can be said that the stone oil bath dissolves completely in the bath water and can be removed with it without leaving any residue. Most complaints about a dark rim in the bath are due to a slight limescale residue on the wall of the bath (often favoured by a slightly rough surface of the bath). This residue is usually also present on visually clean bathtubs and cannot really be avoided. This limescale residue in the bath takes on the dark colour of the bath water. As a result, the bathtub appears dark in colour. The discolouration caused by the stone oil bath is also removed when the limescale residue is removed (cleaning agent according to the bathtub manufacturer).
