- Many plant extracts/phytotherapeutics are absorbed only with difficulty. The excessively large molecular structure usually prevents easy diffusion and the non-lipophilic property makes passage through the intestinal wall more difficult.
- The phytosome technology, brand name Meriva from Indena, emulsifies water-soluble molecules into phospholipid complexes and thus increases absorption. Meriva contains phospholipids from sunflowers. Phospholipids are the main component of cell membranes, act as solubilisers for water and fat and have a high bioavailability when taken orally.

Directions
- 2 x 2-4 capsules daily, unless otherwise recommended.
- Advice: The simultaneous use of curcumin with some cytostatic drugs (e.g. cyclophosphamide, irinotecan, camptothecin) and tamoxifen should be avoided. Not suitable for people with biliary tract diseases. Pregnant and breastfeeding women and people taking medication should only take food supplements after consulting a doctor.

- Ingredients: Glucosamine sulphate KCl complex, methylsulphonylmethane, phytoextracts, bromelain, hypromellose capsule (made of cellulose), leucine (lubricant), silicon dioxide (anti-caking agent). This product contains Indena S.p.A.'s Curcumin Phytosome (Meriva, registered trademark of Idena S.p.A.). Contains components of shellfish.
- Composition per daily dose (4 capsules) %NRV*: MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) 850 mg, glucosamine sulphate (glucosamine sulphate-KCl complex) 750 mg, frankincense extract (Boswellia serrata, resin, 20% beta-boswellic acids) 350 mg, curcumin phytosomes (Curcuma longa, rhizome, phospholipid complex, 18-22% curcuminoids) 250 mg, bromelain 200 mg, potassium (glucosamine sulphate-KCl complex) 98 mg 5%. *Nutrient reference values according to LMIV (1169/2011/EU).
