The Nutri Store Sulforaphane Broccoli Extract Capsules are a food supplement containing 417 mg of a high-quality dry extract of broccoli sprouts per vegan capsule.

Broccoli, cauliflower, white cabbage and other cabbage vegetables are among the foods that have been proven to be healthy in numerous studies. These vegetables contain sulphur-containing glucosinolates such as glucoraphanin and its enzymatic derivative sulforaphane. These secondary plant substances have pronounced antioxidant properties and therefore play an important role in the plant's interaction with the environment.

Unfortunately, glucosinolates are very sensitive to heat. When the vegetables are heated, the important biochemicals are destroyed, so that the absorption of glucosinolates from the food is only insufficiently possible. 100 g of raw, unheated broccoli still contains an average of 51 mg of glucosinolates. After heating, only around 21 mg of glucosinolates remain. Inadequate consumption of vegetables and infrequent consumption of raw vegetables result in an average daily intake of just 43 mg glucosinolates. Due to this low intake of the important glucosinolates with normal food, daily supplementation of the diet with vegetable extracts rich in glucosinolates is generally recommended.

Each vegan sulforaphane broccoli extract capsule contains 417 mg of a high-quality dry extract of broccoli sprouts with glucosinolates such as glucoraphanin and its enzymatic derivative sulforaphane, as well as vitamin C and selenium, which synergistically complement the glucosinolates. Vitamin C and selenium help to protect the cells from oxidative stress. They contribute to the normal function of the immune system.

The raw material for the production of the capsule shell is obtained from vegetable cellulose. The odour of the extract is characteristic of cruciferous vegetables. Sulforaphane broccoli extract is a natural product. Therefore, harvest-related variations in the colour of the capsules may occur. This does not affect the quality of the product.

Take 1 to 2 capsules daily approx. 10 minutes before a meal with sufficient liquid.
