The Nutri Store Momordica Bitter Melon Nutrient Capsules are a dietary supplement designed to provide phytochemicals, vitamins and trace elements. Each capsule contains 500 mg of bitter melon concentrate.
Bitter melon (Momordica charantia), also known as balsam pear, bitter gourd or balsam apple, is a tropical cucurbit. Its cucumber-like, bumpy fruits have been a popular foodstuff for centuries in many countries across Africa, Asia, South America and the Caribbean.
Bitter melon fruits are rich in phytochemicals, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. As it is difficult to buy fresh fruit in Germany, bitter melon capsules are a sensible alternative for reaping the health benefits of the vital nutrients contained in bitter melon.
Each vegan capsule contains 500 mg of high-quality bitter gourd fruit concentrate (Momordica charantia), as well as B vitamins – which are important for a healthy metabolism – and the trace elements zinc, selenium and chromium. Chromium helps maintain normal blood sugar levels. Zinc contributes to normal carbohydrate metabolism. Selenium helps, amongst other things, to protect cells from oxidative stress.

- Take 1 to 2 capsules daily, approximately half an hour before meals, with plenty of liquid.
- Notes for people with diabetes: 1 capsule is equivalent to 0.008 BE.
