The Nutri Store Momordica bitter melon vitality capsules are a dietary supplement for the supply of secondary plant substances, vitamins and trace elements. Each capsule contains 500 mg bitter melon concentrate.
The bitter melon (Momordica charantia), also known as balsam pear, bitter cucumber or balsam apple, is a tropical cucurbit plant. Its cucumber-like, burled fruit has been a favourite food in many countries in Africa, Asia, South America and the Caribbean for centuries.
Bitter melon fruits are rich in phytochemicals, vitamins, minerals and trace elements. As it is difficult to buy fresh fruit in Germany, bitter melon capsules are a sensible alternative to benefit from the health value of the vital substances contained in bitter melon.
Each vegan capsule contains 500 mg of high-quality bitter melon fruit concentrate (Momordica charantia) as well as the B vitamins and trace elements zinc, selenium and chromium, which are important for a healthy metabolism. Chromium contributes to the maintenance of normal blood sugar levels. Zinc contributes to normal carbohydrate metabolism. Selenium contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Bitter melon capsules are therefore a valuable dietary supplement for diabetics due to the biovital substances they contain.
