The Nutri Store Milk Thistle vegan capsules are a food supplement with secondary plant substances from milk thistle, each capsule contains 200 mg milk thistle extract.

Milk thistle (Silybum marianum) is found in Mediterranean countries, where it is eaten as a delicious salad and vegetable. It is widely used as animal feed. It grows up to 1.5 metres tall and bears a few purple-red flower heads. Its prickly leaves are characterised by white spots that run along the leaf veins. The milk thistle owes its name to these spots: According to legend, the Virgin Mary lost her mother's milk on the thistle leaves when she wanted to protect the infant Jesus from persecution by King Herod. The fruits of the milk thistle contain valuable secondary plant substances such as silymarin.

Milk thistle capsules contain 200 mg of high-quality special milk thistle concentrate with a high proportion of the phytochemical silymarin. The raw material used to produce the capsule shell is obtained from vegetable cellulose and is gelatine-free.

How to use

Take 1 capsule daily before meals with plenty of liquid. Prolonged use is recommended.
Note for diabetics: 1 capsule corresponds to 0.0011 BE.
Milk thistle capsules are a natural product. There may be harvest-related variations in the colour of the capsules. This does not affect the quality of the product.
