The Nutri Store Lutein 20 mg capsules are a dietary supplement to supplement the eye's lutein stores, with 20 mg lutein per capsule.

The carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin are essential for eye health, but cannot be produced by the body itself. As a natural colour pigment, lutein is mainly found in yellow and green vegetables. Lutein filters short-wave light in the centre of the retina (macula, yellow spot) like "natural sunglasses". With increasing age, the concentration of lutein in the macula usually decreases, which is why a dietary supplement with lutein is recommended. Vitamin B2, also known as riboflavin, contributes to the maintenance of healthy, normal vision.
Each capsule contains 20 mg pure lutein, 1 mg zeaxanthin and 4.2 mg riboflavin (vitamin B2), which contributes to the maintenance of normal vision.
