The Nutri Store Jiaogulan Extract Capsules are a dietary supplement containing gypenosides from Jiaogulan leaves, with 300 mg of extract per capsule.

Jiaogulan (Jiao Gu Lan, botanical name: Gynostemma pentaphyllum) is native to the southern mountainous regions of China. The plant is also known in China as ‘Xiancao’ – meaning ‘herb of immortality’ – and has been drunk as a tea since the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644). Jiaogulan tea is a rich, full-bodied tea with a sweet-tart flavour and a subtle liquorice-like note; like ginseng, it is said to balance the body’s energies and promote general well-being. Jiaogulan contains gypenosides, which can be concentrated to up to 98 per cent using a special extraction process.

Ingredients: Gynostemma pentaphyllum (Jiaogulan) leaf extract containing 98% gypenosides, gelatine (capsule shell), bulking agent: maize starch, anti-caking agents: magnesium carbonate, magnesium silicate, medium-chain triglycerides.
