The Nutri Store Jiaogulan Extract Capsules are a dietary supplement containing gypenosides from Jiaogulan leaves with 300 mg extract per capsule.

Jiaogulan (Jiao Gu Lan, botanical name: Gynostemma pentayphyllum) is native to the southern mountainous regions of China. The plant is also known in China as "Xiancao" - "herb of immortality" - and has been drunk as tea since the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). Jiaogulan tea is a full-bodied, strong tea with a sweet-tart flavour and a subtle liquorice-like note, which, like ginseng, is said to balance the body's energies and promote general well-being. Jiaogulan contains gypenosides, which can be concentrated up to 98% through a special extraction process.
