The Nutri Store Indole-3 Carbinol Capsules are a food supplement containing 475 mg of a high-quality extract of broccoli, white cabbage and cauliflower and 250 mg of indole-3-carbinol, vitamin C and selenium per vegan capsule.
Broccoli, cauliflower, white cabbage and other cabbage vegetables are among the foods that have been proven to be healthy in numerous studies. These vegetables contain a special ingredient in particular: indole-3-carbinol. As a sulphur-containing glucosinolate, it is one of the secondary plant substances.
Unfortunately, like all glucosinolates, indole-3-carbinol is very sensitive to heat. When the vegetables are heated, the important biologically active substance is destroyed, so that the absorption of indole-3-carbinol from the food is only insufficiently possible. On average, 100 g of raw, unheated broccoli contains 51 mg of glucosinolates. After heating, only around 21 mg of glucosinolates remain. Inadequate consumption of vegetables and infrequent consumption of raw vegetables result in an average daily intake of just 43 mg glucosinolates. Due to this low intake of the important glucosinolates with normal food, daily supplementation of the diet with plant extracts rich in glucosinolates is generally recommended.
Each purely vegan indole-3-carbinol capsule contains 475 mg of a high-quality extract from broccoli, white cabbage and cauliflower with 250 mg indole-3-carbinol as well as vitamin C and selenium, which synergistically supplement the glucosinolates. Vitamin C and selenium help to protect the cells from oxidative stress. They also contribute to the normal function of the immune system.
The raw material used to manufacture the capsule shell is obtained from vegetable cellulose and is gelatine-free. The odour of the product is characteristic of cruciferous vegetables and does not impair the quality of the product. Indole-3-carbinol capsules are a natural product. There may be harvest-related variations in the colour of the capsules. This does not affect the quality of the product.

Directions for use
- Take 1 to 2 capsules daily approx. 10 minutes before a meal with sufficient liquid.
- Advice: No reliable data is available on use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Therefore, pregnant and breastfeeding women should refrain from taking indole-3-carbinol capsules.

- Ingredients: Cabbage extract from broccoli, white cabbage and cauliflower, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (capsule shell), vitamin C, medium-chain vegetable triglycerides (anti-caking agent), sodium selenite pentahydrate.
