The Nutri Store Green Tea Catechin Capsules are a dietary supplement containing 400 mg of high-quality green tea extract with at least 380 mg of polyphenols, including 247 mg of pure catechins and 99 mg of pure EGCG per capsule.
Green tea or green tea is obtained from the same plant (Camellia sinensis) as black tea. In contrast to black tea, however, the tea leaves of green tea are not fermented but gently steamed and dried. The natural catechins, a group of polyphenols that give the tea its bitter flavour, are considered to be particularly interesting ingredients of green tea. Each green tea catechin capsule contains 400 mg of high-quality green tea extract with at least 380 mg of polyphenols, of which 247 mg are pure catechins and 99 mg pure EGCG, usefully supplemented with 12 mg of vitamin C, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
