The Nutri Store Ginseng Capsules are a food supplement containing 250 mg of ginseng root powder (Panax ginseng according to C. A. Meyer) per vegan capsule.
The secret of the Far East lies in the ginseng root. For 2,000 years, it has been one of Asia’s most prized plants. Millions of people in China, Korea, Japan and India are familiar with this plant, whose roots they call ‘the Divine’, ‘root of vitality’ or ‘herb of eternal youth’. Chewed, ground into powder or drunk as a tea, the ginseng root has therefore been regarded as a fortifying food since time immemorial.
Ginseng (botanical name: Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer) is a mountain and forest plant. Originally, wild ginseng root was laboriously gathered in forests. The root used to be so rare and precious that it was even weighed against gold and reserved solely for emperors and kings. Nowadays, ginseng is cultivated on modern farms. Nevertheless, its cultivation remains very labour-intensive and time-consuming.
The highest-quality ginseng is grown in Korea – where it is known as ‘insam’ – and in southern Manchuria. These regions offer the best soil and climatic conditions for producing high-quality ginseng.
Ginseng capsules are a high-quality dietary supplement and, thanks to their ingredients, are particularly well suited for the second half of life, as well as during periods of high physical and mental strain, such as stress or sport.

Directions for use
- Take 2 capsules 2 to 3 times a day with sufficient liquid. Experience suggests that the product should be taken over a longer period, ideally at least 3 months. 1 pack of 200 capsules covers the requirement for approximately 1 month.
- Notes: Diabetics and patients taking warfarin should consult their doctor before taking ginseng supplements. Ginseng may lower blood sugar levels.
