The Nutri Store EGCG Green Tea Extract plus Capsules are a dietary supplement for the supply of green tea catechins and pholyphenols from grape seeds, containing 100 mg epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) per capsule.
According to Chinese legends, green tea was first drunk in 2,700 BC: an emperor sitting under a tea bush (Camellia sinensis) dropped a few leaves into his cup of hot water - and tasted it. Since then, the enjoyment of tea has had a long tradition in Asia. Green tea is at the centre of the Chinese art of tea. Unlike black tea, green tea is not fermented. As a result, the vital substances and secondary plant substances contained in the tea leaf are optimally preserved.
Most of the positive properties of green tea are attributed to the catechins, a group of polyphenols that give the tea its bitter flavour. EpiGalloCatechinGallate (EGCG) is particularly noteworthy.
Like coffee, green tea contains stimulating caffeine. However, some of this is naturally bound to tannins and is therefore released over a longer period of time. Green tea therefore does not have a short-term stimulating effect like coffee, but rather a gentle effect over a longer period of time.
Each vegan EGCG green tea extract plus capsule contains 100 mg epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) and other polyphenols from green tea. These valuable organic substances are supplemented by grape seed powder with a high proportion of natural anthocyanins, OPC and polyphenols.
