The Nutri Store Cod Liver Oil Capsules are a dietary supplement containing 500 mg of high-quality cod liver oil with 600 to 660 I.U. vitamin A and 55 to 60 I.U. vitamin D3.

Cod liver oil is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) and contains vitamins A and D. Cod liver oil is particularly recommended during the cold winter months.

Vitamin A is one of the fat-soluble vitamins and contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes and normal skin. It contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, normal function of the immune system and normal iron metabolism. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth and to the maintenance of normal muscle function. Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus and to a normal calcium level in the blood and has a function in cell division. The body needs sufficient vitamin D for healthy bones and teeth, especially during the growth stage. Vitamin D also contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
