The Nutri Store Cherry sour cherry plus capsules are a food supplement with 600 mg of high-quality Montmorency sour cherry concentrate (50:1) per capsule in a synergistic combination with zinc.
The red fruits of Prunus cerasus - the sour cherry - have a tart flavour and are a popular fruit grown in many varieties throughout the northern hemisphere. The "large Gobet glass cherry", also known as the Montmorency cherry, comes from the French town of Montmorency. It contains high levels of anthocyanins, red-purple plant pigments, which are also found in many berries as antioxidant protective substances. Montmorency sour cherries have a total anthocyanin content of up to 26.6 mg per 100 g. The flesh of the cherries can be freeze-dried in a gentle process to produce a 50:1 concentrate. In this way, 1 kg of concentrate is obtained from 50 kg of fresh cherries.
Each vegan capsule contains 600 mg of high-quality Montmorency sour cherry concentrate (50:1) in synergistic combination with zinc, which among other things has a function in cell division and contributes to normal acid-base metabolism, normal metabolism of macronutrients and protection of cells from oxidative stress.
